Ist & 2nd Crowthorne joined ranks and entered a float into the Carnival. The theme was ‘heroes and Villains’.

All the local schools, nurseries and clubs, including Scouts and Guides participate in the BI-Annual event. The Parade goes down from the Wellington business Park, down Dukes Ride and through the High street and it is well attended by all the local residents.

Our entry was called ‘Crowthorne Knights’ and on our float we had a huge dragon and a damsel in distress. All the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and leaders dressed up in costume (curtsey of the Gang show). Our entry came 2nd place and we got a certificate and a rosette.
