We rely on the section Leaders to let us know of special awards that young people have gained.
The Chief Scouts Award is the highest award available in the Beaver Scout ( bronze ), Cub Scout ( silver ) and Scout ( Gold ) sections.
16/7/07, The following is a quote we received from a Beaver Scouts proud parents, permission has been given to publish his name. Here is a picture of Liam being awarded his Chief Scouts Bronze Award. Liam from 2nd Crowthorne Beavers has enjoyed every evening at Beavers and all the new experiences that he encountered. We would like to thank everyone for their involvement with Liam, it has brought him on and helped him develop.
24/5/07. Well done to James Clinton from the 9th Bracknell Kestrel Beavers on gaining their Chief Scouts Bronze Award. 22/5/07. Congratulations to Ben Vince on being the first ever Beaver from 2nd Easthampstead Beavers to gain the Chief Scouts Bronze Award. 21/5/07. Well done to Luke Fish and Jordan Stone of 9th Bracknell Kingfisher Beavers on gaining their Chief Scouts Bronze Award.

11/7/07 Congratultions to Matthew Stevens from 1st Sandhurst who has just been awarded with the Chief Scouts Silver Award. Although Matthew is now a Scout the badge can be finished off at Scouts with the Cub Leaders permission. 5/6/07. Adult Volunteer Awards Special - St George’s Day Awards 2007.
South Berkshire District Scouts would like to Thank Berkshire County Scouts for supplying this information.
Volunteer Adults are essential to Scouting and without them the adventure of Scouting would simply not happen. On behalf of the 6,000+ young people in Berkshire it is a big thank you to every Adult Volunteer who is involved with Scouting in Berkshire.
There are those who make an extra special contribution. This newsletter celebrates such people – whether they have supported a specific project, succeeded in difficult circumstances or volunteers working for adventure, or simply worked with local communities to help grow Scouting, who will receive one of the 2007 St George’s Day Awards. Congratulations to all those who will receive an award from everyone involved with Berkshire Scouting and a massive thank you to you all for everything you have done for Scouting.
